Text Box: Superbly situated, detached, 3 bed roomed gite with glorious, panoramique, mountain views, in a private, tranquil setting.. Set 800 metres above the lovely mountain village of SEIX, which has all commodities, restaurant,bars,market and lots of character. Our cottage has been newly renovated and has a large kitchen/diner with gas cooker,fridge,washing machine and TV/DVD .Three bedrooms( 2 with double beds, one with 2 singles), bathroom and WC .   In the huge garden you have a terrace for eating outside and watching the sun set over the mountains, plus a large field. See the huge birds of prey glide on the thermals, red squirrels in the trees, huge variety of butterflies and wild flowers, who's perfume fills the valley; plus a host of other wildlife which thrives in the Ariege..    The setting is in a small hamlet, with one other property located a distance away, so peace, quiet and privacy. Outside the property you can follow a choice of lovely walks for which maps are provided.  In and around SEIX other activities are on offer. Try kayaking or walking with donkies! Skiing is within easy reach at the wonderful Col de Trapp or the Station of Guzet Neige.The Saturday market at saint Girons must not be missed, being one of the largest and most colourful in France and the City of Saint Lizier offers a cultural delight. Many more fascinating places are close by to visit, which combined with the local activities, festivals and fetes means you can be as occupied or as relaxed and peaceful as you wish. Our gite is our mountain haven which we are sure you will delight in.
